based on differently layered perlin noise structures, Unfolding Silently is an abstract work series that is reminiscent of a northern type of landscape. 

it also refers to traditional asian landscape painting, regarding the long portrait format based on the scroll tradition.
this format offered me a particularly exciting challenge, with its horizontal cuts and their compositional tensions.

it's made using different automated- and/or keyboard input based values, used for noise, color, structural size and direction,... to generate a layered image build up.
