Things I've learnt to appreciate in the last twelve monthsWarm soup on Sunday's with crusty bread. Drying my washing on the balcony in the hot sun. Watching full Netflix series and not worrying about wasting time doing so. Reading over 30 books. Practicing new drawing skills. Becoming confident using said drawing skills. Getting my work printed for the first time. Getting my first Etsy sale. That fresh print smell... Happy Mind.
The illustration above is inspired by the definition of daydream; A series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present. This is often what I feel when drawing, creating, exploring and walking.

After the past twelve months, the never been a more important time to let your mind drift to fond memories and brighter prospects.
When the third lockdown was announced I decided to take the time I has been given to finally get some of my work printed. I had always pondered on the idea, but never quite had the confidence to do it, maybe it was the fear of not selling the pieces, or the fear of not having enough time to do so.
Spot the delicate flower; the potted plant or a potted mind? An obsession with nature makes her hard to find. This print is inspired by beauty, both in nature and within oneself.
Throughout my work, I like to use a lot of vivid and bold colours. This print was sketched on Procreate and then hand-drawn in Adobe Illustrator.
