My theme for this poster is SNOW WHITE, the hand on the top represents queen, and the bottom hand represents snow white

 

The tag line is a quote from "snow white and seven dwarfs"

 

I used gradient tool for the background (white portion of background stands for good, black portion stands for evil), and then I used brush tool to added blood (blood symbolize that apple has been poisoned, and the queen is planning to kill snow white by giving her this apple)

 

For the text I used inner shadow and drop shadow effect 

This is an apple, I used pen tool to separate out from the background, adjusted the brightness, color balance, and level, and I also added texture effect to apple so it won't look fake

This is my hand, I painted my nails black on purpose, used pen tool to separate out from background, adjusted the brightness, color balance, and level, and applied cooling photo filter so the color of two hands are matching
