Forms and shapes to CHARACTERS! This was a crash assignment given at the beginning of the course. We were asked to doodle out as many shapes as we could before finalizing one and creating a character out of it.
Characterizing myself! I set out by describing the characteristics (both physical and psychological) and then studied how the body language and expressions could be manipulated to bring out the same.
As part of the final project, we were asked to choose a story that hasn't been illustrated thus far, study it and choose a character and illustrate him/her. I chose the story 'The Cop and the Anthem' by Sir. O. Henry and chose to design the protagonist 'Soapy'.
