Adobe recently invited me to be a part of their latest Creative Residency programme. Where artists are allowed to lead a personal project with the support of Adobe. This programme showcased Adobe Illustrator for the iPad and was a great way to become immersed in familiar software on a different platform.
This project took me outside — investigating, drawing, and documenting on the go. Introducing more organic forms into my work, a nice change of pace compared to a more stylised or reimagined practice. The final composition is a patterned still life of unusual shapes and strange forms from the ‘natural’ world.
