One of the things that struck me about the 2019 Academy Award-winning film 'Parasite' was the masterful production design and the visual trek from squalor to opulence and back again. This poster highlights that aspect of the film using illustrative typography. The design also references the art of the Korean hanging scroll called 'Hangul' 족자 in Korean. These scrolls featured vertical typography often rendered in black and red ink on rice paper.
