Richard Goozh is a businessman and philanthropist. When not working, Richard spends time engaged in his community and as an active philanthropist. Established in 2010, Richard started the Goozh Philanthropic Trust through his association with the Jewish Community Federation and Endowment. Richard ensures that his Philanthropic Trust contributes to multiple healthcare, environmental, arts and other non-profit organizations. The Goozh Philanthropic Trust has generated donations benefiting the Central City Opera House Association, San Francisco Opera, the Nature Conversancy and others.
Richard Goozh is a graduate and a dedicated alumnae of the University of Pennsylvania and Northwestern University. Other charities that Richard has contributed to include The National Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, On Your Feet Foundation, Grapes of Humanity, the Histio Cure Foundation, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, Marin Agricultural Land Trust, San Francisco Baykeepers and others. When Goozh is not spending time working with various non-profit organizations and charities, he is extremely passionate about sports and enjoys the outdoor. Participating in triathlons, primarily focusing on Olympic distance races, has been a passion and hobby for more than twenty years. Other hobbies include whitewater rafting and skiing. When time allows, Richard enjoys visiting U.S. National Parks. His favorites include, The Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain National Park.
