This project was in response to the Royal Society of Arts Student Design Awards brief.
The voice-over promotes the idea of leaving the world a better place than you found it so that the subsequent generations can benefit from their elder's good deeds. I felt this concept was best summed up in the ancient greek proverb, "A society grows great when old men plant trees in whose shade they know they will never sit". I based my response to the brief around that proverb and the idea of evolution.
I paired the animation with a slow piano score I created which builds in intensity to help reinforce the idea of a montage.
