Designed to attract attention of an audience of all age groups, this interactive media utilizes Augmented Reality technology to project virtual environment, objects and interactive animated characters on a 103 inches widescreen.

 

The setup consists of sensors and webcams capturing the interaction area to calculate the positions of every virtual entity. Body and face recognition technology is also utilized to allow a more immersive interaction between human and artificial intelligence.

When a person is detected within the interaction area, an interactive mascot appears to greet and invites the person to play a piano tune with him.

 

Shortly, a Guitar Hero -esque mini game starts and the person can step on the piano floor sticker to play the piano.

The interactive media can accurately detect which key you stepped on without any form of electrical wiring or pressure pad, purely through the detection and capturing of body motion - such is the wonder of Augmented Reality and modern technology.

During the interactive session, human faces are recognized, triggering thought bubbles to appear periodically and follow any passers-by's heads until they leave the screen.
