Chinese tiger inhabiting South Central China. This population is under the greatest threat of extinction. According to experts, there are about 20 individuals. One tiger cub was born in a nature reserve in South Africa in November 2007. This is the first time a Chinese tiger has been born outside of China. Recently, the South China tiger was included in the top ten animals in the world that are threatened with extinction in the near future.
