The linework: Well, I had to do a poster for the Pajamas' Party of my school which its theme, this year, would be the USA. After talking with the responsibles for the party, it was clear for me they would follow the classic western aspect of the country. With that in mind, I started searching for references that could lead me to a good piece, and to find those references I went all the way back to my childhood and remembered the amazing backgrounds that were made for cartoos like "Woody Woodpecker" and "Wile E. Coyote and The Road Runner". I really liked that desert look, filled with mountains and with almost no green anywhere and I thought this would be the perfect look for the western look I wanted to give to the image.
The finished image, before I did some post-work on Photoshop. All the drawing and painting were made on ArtRage 4, a great piece of software avaliable on Steam and that gives a great number of options to work with and for a great price (and no, they are not paying me to talk about ArtRage...I just really liked the program :D )
The final image, textured in Photoshop and with enhanced lighting done behind the moon. - that is the always present symbol of the Pajamas' Party. Hope you liked!
