Walter Village is a strategy board game that simulates the power dynamics between different stakeholders in a place with heavy industrial pollution. Inspired by real-world cases of civic activism against water pollution, our game incorporates fun and engaging game mechanics that give our players a thought-provoking experience of fighting polluters in an imaginary village. Touching on complex subjects like corporate interest vs. individual interest, neighborhood relations, the science of water purification, political actions, etc. we hope our game could inform, empower, and inspire changes around environmental issues.
