Warriors of the Month
Rebrand
Warriors of the Month are a band from the Southwest USA. They had received a logo design from a fan in their early days which, as they prepared to put out a new album, they were looking to update. The goal was to create a new visual identity for the group that gave a better representation of their musical roots and the way the band intended to develop their sound.
The concepts were based on a few, specific elements that spoke to the band. This included the dust and grit of the North American Southwest, the influence and respect for classic rock and psychedelic genres, and a love for analog music production methods. With these prompts, using a handmade font and preserving texture and personality from the typography process was a clear avenue of exploration.
