So while 2020 was definitely a year of significant change and constalt problems in having live in-person events, Momocon still wanted to bring awesome panels and events to the world. So in addition to the MomoConline event they had in May, they decided to make an all-new digital event in December. For the inaugural 2020 event, they decided on a 1980's take on the event, hence the "Let's Get Digital!" variant:
