My friend from Thailand wanted a poster to promote her writing club where everybody would sit in silence and write for an hour straight. Sitting in silence can be boring and unappealing to most people but I wanted to send a message that this writing club gives you an opportunity to be creatively loud with your words instead of just being verbally loud. That's why I design the word "write" to somewhat resemble a loud speaker. This also creates a contrast to the word "shut up" which can make people curious and draw in their attention. Colorful birds and key words on the plain background and image indicates something unique, free and creative.
