A-JUTA
‘With two meters of rope’

The goal of this exercise was to design a useful, new object using two metres of rope

We decided to create an object designed for people who practice yoga or another outdoor sport, to make it easier for them to carry equipment for their sport

The yoga mat is often an uncomfortable object to carry around, and is therefore carried by hand.
A-juta solves this problem, freeing up the user's hands and allowing them to carry items that would otherwise be uncomfortable to carry in bags or backpacks.

In addition, once you arrive at your destination, you can store A-juta, which will take up very little space

A-juta uses the rope weave, which makes it possible to create loops in which to insert objects without  using hooks or other materials.

The name A-juta is formed by the word juta (the material from which the rope is made), which by adding an A becomes a-Juta, that has a similar pronounciation with the italian word aiuta (to help).

Packaging created during the Concept Design course, in Design Lab I.
Conceived with: Guardavaccaro Gaia, Lacerignola Alberto, Ionà Valentina.
