Concept: I created this full-page illustration graphic as a freelance assignment for DC Fray Magazine's online Dry January issue.

Work: This took a lot of trial and error as I've never played with gradient and perspective to this scale before. I used Adobe Illustrator and a combination of simple shapes to make every element on the page. 

Challenges: It was difficult for me to come up with a conceit to visualize self-care, so I wrote out the article first then reflected on my own self-care habits. I realized that I practice self-care mainly at home and decided illustrating a collection of rooms with objects symbolizing the different aspects of self-care would be an appropriate fit.
