Two days in the Ural Mountains

TWO DAYS IN THE URAL MOUNTAINS
Somewhere on Earth, where Europe meets Asia, there are the Ural Mountains, one of the oldest mountains in the world. The length of the mountain range is 2500 km. So there is definitely a lot to see in this area. For my trip I chose a place called Aigir. It is a small village that is located in the Republic of Bashkortostan in Russia. In Aigir you can find a mountain base. There my dad and I spent two days in December 2020. Here in this project I want to show you both days.  Interesting thing that I realized was how the weather changed the perception of how everything looked around.
The first day
The first day we did hiking to a peak called "Shurale Teeth" (689 meters). It was very foggy and cloudy. I barely could see thing that were close to me, not to say about the view from the top, however, this type of weather made everything look very mysterious and cinematic.
The second day
The second day the weather was much better. Even the sun appeared for a little bit. In the early morning the sky got this beautiful pink peach kind of color. It seemed like we were in a fairytale. By the time we got to the Peak Ufa (919 meters),the sky became blue and almost clear. So finally this day it was possible to see the view and appreciate the scenery of the area. On the other hand, it was very cold and windy, especially at the top.
Before leaving Aigir we went to a place called Blueberry Mountain (447 meters). It is a view point from where you can see both peaks, that I told you about earlier.  This picturesque sunset was perfect "Goodbye" from the Ural Mountains to us.
Hope you enjoyed traveling to the Ural Mountains with me :)
Thank you!
