Market City is a retail factory outlet located in the heart of Sydney's China Town. They offer great shopping, entertainment and food. They are involved in the community and hold festivals throughout the year.

A complete re-brand was given to take Market City to the next level.
A new identity and brand was created to appeal to Market City's main target audience – tertiary students, mainly 18–35 years of age. 

The logo created for Market City is modern and fresh. Market City prides itself as being in the heart of Sydney's China Town. The four arrows pointing towards the centre conveys this. The arrows also form a circular shape representing the community and their colours represent the four floors of Market City.

To launch this new look, a campaign using black and white imagery, paired with simple typography, was designed to give Market City the energy it needed. The main brochure for Market City includes general information about the shopping center such as opening times, parking, stores, entertainment, location etc. Black and white photography gave the Market City brand a classic, timeless feel, whilst still conveying energy and youthfulness through the poses of the models in the images. Simple, stylish, sophisticated, yet very contemporary. 
This is a promotional Spring/Summer brochure to inform and remind the community about Market City. To convey the Spring/Summer season, a bright, fresh approach was taken to catch the eye of its audience. Orange was used to demand attention as well as dynamic imagery, straight lines, angles and simple typography. 
To co-inside with the Sprint/Summer brochure, a Mix & Match brochure was designed. This fun brochure features the seasons key looks, both male and female, as well as giving you the ability to 'mix & match' different tops and bottoms. It also promotes Market City's Student Discount Card.
A website was designed for the new look of Market City. This worked as an extension, rather than a direct translation of the print material.

The Mix & Match section of the website allows the user to view key season looks, while giving them the flexibility to create their own look – they can skim through suggested tops and bottoms to created the perfect look. Example below.
