U ovom projektu ilustrirane su tri izreke koje u hrvatskoj koristimo svakodnevno. Ilustrirane su pomoću likova čiji karakter definira izreku.
In this project I illustrated three sayings that people in Croatia use in everyday life. They are illustrated with characters whose figure defines the saying.
Tko čeka, taj i dočeka!
I guess people from Croatia understand what that means, but I will translate it for those who are not from here.
English equivalent would be "All things come to those who wait". Pretty nice thought for 2021.
Tko prvi njegova djevojka!
Literal translation would mean "first one gets the girl", first one gets the best prize.
English equivalent would be "first come, first served".

Literal translation would be "what you can do today, don't leave for tomorrow".
English equivalent would be "Better now than later", but I think that the literal translation is as good as the equivalent.
