DON'T TEXT & WALK

DON'T TEXT & WALK
Can design touch someone's heart? The challenge this time was to create something for a group of people, not just an individual, that we do not know. As a group of 3, we decided to target random people on the streets of New York, who were texting while walking. We wanted to deliver an important message to them: Don't text and walk!, and what better way to do that than to design a lamp post costume, with the main message stitched onto the front (in the form of a street poster), and jump in front of these textwalkers. They bumped into us and most were shocked and surprised, but to soften the blow, we handed out customized M&Ms. We were therefore able to deliver our message across.
