Heinz Baby food
They were in need for a packaging refreshment for its line of baby food. Both the doypack and its glass presentation were being perceived as old and lifeless. And after our own analysis we found the way the information was presented was a little messy, so we also set out to improve that aspect.
The main challenge was to find a way to give the packaging a shot of new life with more contemporary appearance and at the same time respecting the elements of graphic identity that they have already established. Also we decided to introduce a color code system to facilitate the identification of each flavor.
We created a graphical system focused on Heinz's Keystone figure and their mascot Henry the Giraffe (which should able to be removed in some cases where countries do not allow the use of corporate mascots). We eliminated any other element that dirtied the front of the packaging and replaced the illustrated landscape with a solid color background related to the flavor of its respective packaging.
