This is a personal project I've made with the Evermotion Challenge in mind. Although I didn't submit the final version I really enjoyed the process and I ended up preparing more than one image.

My own 2020 wasn't really a bad year. It was a year of change. The lockdown made me appreciate the possibility of working at home. It gave me peace of mind I didn't know I needed. That's why I wanted to make an image that would represent both a beautiful, warm space and the feeling of isolation. Also, since I haven't seen any snow for at least two years I felt really inspired watching all the projects of winter cabins in Finland. I would love to spend a few days of lockdown in a place like this.

I hope this image makes you feel the warmth and coziness that comes from spending winter evenings with a cup of hot chocolate.
