      Il simbolo della Taranta comporta un ethos, cioè una mediata volontà di storia, un progetto di “vita insie-me”, un impegno a uscire dall’isolamento nevrotico per partecipare a un sistema di fedeltà culturali. Un ethos che qualifica il tarantismo come “religione del ri-morso” e come “terra del rimorso” la molto piccola area del nostro pianeta in cui questa religione “minore” vide per alcuni secoli il suo giorno

      The symbol of Taranta implies an ethos, that is, a mediated will to history, a project of "life together", a commitment to emerge from neurotic isolation in order to participate in a system of cultural loyalties. An ethos that qualifies Tarantism as a "religion of remorse" and as a "land of remorse" in the very small area of our planet where this "minor" religion saw its day for a few centuries.
