Mini Plastic Recycling Station for FDM

MPRSF 3D
Mini Plastic Recycling Station to Create Filament for 3D Printing.
2016
Since I've been working with 3D printing I believe that they came to evolve the development of products, which demands an enormous amount of
testing and prototyping. Therefore, it always intrigued me of what we should do with the 3D printed models that were used during the process
of the final one.
Consequently, I push my self to try to develop a machine that could recycle all the 3D printed parts that no longer have a use, and also almost all thermoplastics to become 3D print filaments! It's composed of a Crusher, Filament Extruder and a Winding to roll up the final filament.
It ended to be my final project at the university! Research had been made, and the construction process started, but unfortunately, one year wasn't enough to finish all the machine by my self. I was able to project and start to build the Crusher, I focused on the Filament Extruder (where I could discover some projects mistakes in the end) and started sketching the Winding.
Even though I didn't manage to finish I'm really glad of this project because I learn to make all the metal machining and also to understand the world of mechanical of precision that I enjoyed and want to work again.
