Collaboration project with University of Westminster students
-2010: Topman Look book: Creating a format for a collaborating fashion team within the university. This booklet was used to express and showcase varied fashion designs from the BA (Hons) fashion students and a photographer from the photography course. The group approached me, which were all attending the University of Westminster. The project itself seemed pretty much realized, as the students had already taken the photos of the design garments. Although the group had some vague ideas as to what they wanted, they hadn’t thought the whole process through of how the designs could be shown in their entirety, butin the best possible way. I was able to take full reigns of both the format and layout design. It was very nice to get some recognition from doing the work, as well as making new connections and friends. It was a new experience for me as it was aiding a large group outside of my class or friendship loop, which was very refreshing. I was told that they received positive feed back from member sof the Topman design team at the meeting.
