HISTORY
Restaurant of traditional Azerbaijanian cuisine of Nakhichevan region, situated close to the objects of national importance like the Parliament of Azerbaijan and the Department of Homeland Security.
It is a place with its age and history that now has to renovate its face, get high status but save its traditions.
Main interior concept is cultural and architectural heritage of Nakhichevan region.
Main color scheme was borrowed from dressing of the facade of Mausoleum in Qarabaglar. Turquois hue borrowed from there formed the basis for interior accents. Ornament for decorative finishing of walls and ceiling was borrowed from facade elements.
Authors were inspired by architectural solutions and approaches of Momine Hatun Mausoleum, Tomb of Prophet Noah and Yusif ibn Kuseyir Mausoleum – country’s sacred places and landmarks – when developing arcs finishing joints and other decoration elements.
INTERIOR
Materials: clay, plaster, wood of natural tone, matting, leather, onyx, brass, pottery pendants on chandeliers and decoration, plaiting of dividers and chandeliers.
Stylistics: modern ascetic in combination with Scandinavian style in furniture, ethno-style in details and Japanese style in forms.
Plan solution of the restaurant supposes main sitting arrangement of guests in the central hall, 3 VIP halls for ceremonies and private dinners.
Due to multi-layering of textures, original finishing and materials and minimum colors, restaurant’s interior gathered a unique combination of traditions, modern trends and high-class feel.
