Sainsburys Student - service design concept with website and mobile application
Mobile application / web service aimed at the shared housing / student shopping market, offering a simple solution to purchasing individual items that are shared within a rented household.

Aimed at everyday products (such as kitchen, bathroom, staple foods, etc) in which items are approved before being added to a communal trolley, and costs are split between household tenants. Personal trolley is also available, allowing the user the freedom to spend more (or less) on personal items, without the rest of the house footing the bill. This makes the option of internet shopping more accessible to the single person in shared accommodation market.

The service has a more fun element (aimed particularly at student market) in which members participate in a weekly ‘food lottery’ draw, working with purchased goods from the week. Points are awarded for healthy eating, which can be exchanged for treat snacks. The service also reacts with the individual buyer, suggesting recipes against items purchased by the customer.
