This project was guided and aided by the well known South African typography expert Jan Erasmus, it was also featured on hie website in 2009 cybergraphics. 

The font is entirely self generated and was a labour intensive exercise. It started out from a simple typographic doodle that was then elaborated upon and tweaked to create a fully functioning font. It is not available for download but i am working on getting it on a site soon.

The typeface is a designed around a 1950's sea-faring life. An emphasis on boats, nautical and obviously dockyards was used as an aid to get the feel for the font.
