Campaign 4 Cancer and OPEN CO commissioned myself and a few other art studios to design typographically driven posters that delivered a message to communities to help break down stigmas and false truths. This print deals with the tokolosh, a fabled African creature not unlike a Brownie, that is widely known as mischievous and often the scapegoat for the ills of rural community life. Some believe it is responsible for cancer to women, but this is obviously wrong. The poster was placed within the community not only to uplift but also educate.
