Inspired by Norwegian boat houses this modern interpretation creates a cozy and warm place to escape in to the wild.

The idea of this project was to create a sense of nostalgia by using artisanal materials and textures and incorporating the element of fire. The architecture of the house is narrating the story of the area by borrowing the famous Norwegian wood from its surroundings and shaping it into the memory of a Viking boat house.
