The MantaRay ocean cleaner is a concept designed for cleansing the ocean of all the plastic that pollutes it. Even the tiniest bits of plastic can be filtered with the manta rays filtering feeding system.

Manta rays use filters when eating, food bounces off the filter and goes into the stomach and water passes through the gills back into the sea.

The plastic that the ocean cleaner would pick up would go through the filters into a chamber that would contain bacteria that degrade plastic. This would shorten the process of returning collected plastic to land and recycling. The problem would be solved on the spot, while new plastic is being collected, the already collected parts are degrading.

Flaps rotate and allow easier movement, and indicator lights on the sides ease spotting in the dark by ships and animals. There are two engines instead of one and double propellers on both sides as well. The upper surface is covered with a solar panel that is used for charging the battery.
