Allegory of Memory
PHOTOBOOK
This photographic project was conceived from the beginning as a visual poetry book, also serving as a tribute to German expressionism, showing in the shadows a subjective, deformed and capricious reality, where feelings prevail over forms.
I have tried to capture that feeling in the conceptualization of the binding project from the beginning. I have used the materials I had available at home, using hand-dyed fabrics for the cover, and recycled sheets for the inside. The photographs were printed on WEN ZHOU paper and adhered with Paper Cement.
