I've had the pleasure to be working alongside the brilliant renowned artist Mike Massy, and be able to bounce ideas with him as well as create all design and animation material for his releases. So I've compiled some of the things we worked on this past year below.

This album consists of a medley of Mike's most well-known songs performed live. He came up with the name Taratour (a pun on tour and the Mediterranean sauce), which set the humorous tone for the rest of the campaign.

Not only was the outcome very rewarding, but the whole process of going crazy with a concept all the way was fun. Followers also mimicked the typography (and humor) in their stories and content.

Another angle of the campaign was teaser stories, which were Whatsapp conversations with Mike's friends: anything from their feedback on the album name to the most random and quirky voice notes. Here are some:

This single is Mike's rendition of the original 1991 song by William Sheller. To keep the nostalgic feel but also give a touch of simple modernity, I went with torn paper that brings to mind love letters, and a tinge of emotional pink over monochrome.

This was an album of live recorded tracks, so to mirror the coziness of this raw vocals-piano concert, we went with something dark yet intimate.

For Mike's live Christmas concert, I aimed for something wintery and festive, yet not the typical visual treatment for Christmas. Thus I went with the soft palette of snow and maroon with some brightness, and a handwritten friendly title.
