I used the Background Blur in my design to make it look like glass. I'm absolutely in love with this trend! It reminds me of the glass phones from one of the Black Mirror episodes.
Here is how I made it:
I chose a phone looking rectangle and turned on background blur. I added some colorful shapes, pictures and font underneath the glass object to highlight the effect. Then I played with the blur and transparency settings and tweaked the brightness levels. At the end I added another rectangle underneath the glass to fake the shadow of the phone.
