The project of an apartment in the south of Moscow.
This interior was designed for a young couple with a child. The requirements were clear enough: it was necessary to form an autonomous master block; retain a sense of air, including the entrance area; try to avoid impasses in movement around the apartment, and place a bio fireplace in the living room. Besides of the master block, a children's room, a guest (and children's) bathroom, a kitchen-living room, and a laundry room were also required.

The planning solution zones the space into 3 units: a master's, a children's, and a public area (kitchen-living room / hallway / laundry room / bathroom).
We got a space with a riser in the center of the apartment. We settled on the option with a "cube", which contains a riser and a bathroom. Thanks to this formation, the different scenarios of movement within space have appeared.
So, the movement around the cube allows you to conveniently distribute the paths to the child and master unit. The children's half and the clients' bedroom are spaced as much as possible in the project, which ensures their privacy. The public area is easily accessible from these units.
In the kitchen-dining area, there are columns with built-in appliances and an island (work surface), to which a table for four is adjacent. Since clients have guests, we have provided the possibility of increasing the length of the table so that 6 people can comfortably sit behind it. It was decided to make the countertop of the working surface not of a standard width, but a deepened one (750 mm), which in the future will allow customers to cook on both sides of the island. The “floating” section of the sink allows easy access from three sides. We have also provided 2-sided pull-out sections to make the drawers comfortable and not heavy and too deep.
In the living area there are a modular sofa and bio fireplace.
A storage system was designed for the hallway, "flowing" into the laundry room. The vertical lines of handles give the space a certain rhythm, which is "knocked down" by a panel with different width slats (this technique is also used in the TV zone and in the slats of the guest bathroom). The laundry room is closed with a sliding door, if it is widely opened we will see a wall painted in one of the accent colors of this project - ocher.
The guest bathroom is located in the "cube", which is covered with decorative plaster in a complex blue-gray shade. The colors of the walls go inside the cube emphasizing the wholeness of the form. In one of the walls, we have provided spectacular "cuts" dressed in a mirror, which work both for the living room area and for the bathroom. The entrance to the bathroom is made from the hallway to hide it as much as possible from the living room.
