It’s been tough sledding in SantaLand this season. First there was the lockdown, which has thrown the entire production schedule out of whack. Then, after weeks of pestering by Snowman (and against his better judgement), Santa gave the green light to the formation of an art/performance project: The SantaLand Conga Band. He thought it would give everyone in their ‘pod’ a chance to blow off steam. Maybe soothe some frayed nerves.
Here we see the result: the SLCB laying down the 837th chorus of Nutty Jingle Bells. Snowman, band leader and manic conguero, is a hard-driving perfectionist who won’t expand the repertoire until this tune is perfect.
And it isn't perfect.
Still.
Santa is really looking forward to that solo road trip on the 24th.
