Digitoll has entered the Bulgarian market in 2019 as a National Service Provider (NSP), licensed by the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) for electronic collection of tolls - e-Vignettes and toll.
The company is focused on e-Vignettes and Route Passes distribution as well as the most advanced high-tech solutions for tracking and charging tolls that are based on the distance traveled by heavy road vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons. The technical solutions that Digitoll offers include the latest technologies in the field of satellite positioning.
First, we focused on responsive design. We wanted to make sure that the content adjusted smoothly to a variety of screen sizes. The results proved our expertise as we managed to accomplish a fluid grid system. Our approach focused on the mobile-first technique and we scaled up phone-sized designs to suit larger screens. Afterward, we decided to use only SVGs and hid content to suit users’ contexts.
The overall results are uniformity and seamlessness and SEO friendliness which was desired by our client.
Regarding the client’s brand identity we had several targets: build loyalty and trust, convey stability, reach memorability, and show commitment.
We focus on a specific color palette that gives the feeling of force, determination, vitality, and energy. Orange seems to be the best option as it is also well represented in the road industry. The typography is simple and appealing. Opting for a well-known font makes the user feel trustworthiness and reliability towards the brand.
Working with this client was a great challenge that put our knowledge and innovation strategies up to the test. We managed to create a fully functional web and mobile design that engages the user and makes their journey a breeze.
