SEUSS LANDING MERCHANDISING
From tasty treats to apparel, souvenirs and collectibles, EDG developed an array of product merchandise all with the Dr. Seuss theme. EDG created several pieces of merchandise for “Seuss Landing,” one of the five destinations at Universal Studios’ Florida theme park, Islands of Adventure.
ESCAPE BRANDING GUIDES
The ultimate vacation destination. This assignment included individual branding guides and a case for five major Universal Studios properties including; Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, CityWalk, and Universal’s Escape Resorts. Each oversized guide with boldly illustrated and specialty die-cut covers had it’s own vacation-oriented graphics to highlight each unique property. The outer case complete with it’s own luggage tag, was designed to look like an actual suitcase, rounding out Universal’s theme: The Ultimate Vacation Destination.
CONSUMER PRODUCTS GROUP MONSTERS STYLE GUIDES
Monster madness. Universal Studios’ Monster film library was brought to life when EDG developed this nightmarish, yet handsome style guide to attract potential licensees. A second guide was created for non-likeness characters two years later.
MUMMY STYLE GUIDE AND PROMOTIONAL GUIDES
The Mummy grossed $43 million during its opening weekend in the US and went on to gross $416 million worldwide. Not bad for the walking dead! Inspired by this timeless and eerie tale, a variety of logos, textures and backgrounds were developed for a full-color style guide for The Mummy that truly embodied the “undead” spirit of the film. With the Mummy Returns came another job for EDG; a style guide that would assist partners in the design and execution of the film’s key promotional programs. Once again, the job called for an amazing presentation, chock full of all the ghoulish graphics potential licensees could ask for.
