Boris Vian Autumn in Peking

"One of the weirdest novels I've ever read, and also one of the funniest. Even the title is nonsensical. No, the action it's not in Autumn and certainly not in Peking."
— Anibal Madeira, some guy that wrote a review on amazon.com

Autumn in Peking (L'Automne à Pékin) is a 1947 novel by the French writer Boris Vian. It was the only one of Vian's serious novels to be republished in his lifetime. However, it waited till 1963's French student riots to be rediscovered, reissued and reprinted a number of times. Finally, in 2018, The Library of Babel published the first Ukrainian edition of this novel, for which I had designed cover, illustrations, and overall visual conception.
