It's forty miles from my place to Baker City, Oregon. It follows the Powder River and has views of three mountain ranges. The Blues, Eagle Caps, and Elk Horns mountains. I make the trip about once a week and am always in awe of the beauty.

I've never been able to capture the feel of coming around the bend in the road to this view of the Eagle Caps Mountains, but I keep trying
I had to stop and say hello to a new mule in the valley. He's a Belgian Draft mule, both huge and beautiful
