Jacquard design course started off with understanding the mechanism and capabilities of a jacquard loom. The high number of hooks in a jacquard loom allows one to create fabric with intricate designs and structures. After understanding different jacquard mechanisms for a week, next step was to pick an inspiration and create surfaces.
