Bachelor Thesis Project
Carvel is a product concept designed for every kind of diving user, from the research scientist using cylinders to the spearfishing.
It has been achieved to allow even users with perforated eardrums, such an extremely painful and frequent accident, to keep joining their activities, whatever they’re able or not to manually compensate the pressure whilst diving.
It has been achieved to allow even users with perforated eardrums, such an extremely painful and frequent accident, to keep joining their activities, whatever they’re able or not to manually compensate the pressure whilst diving.
As result, the damaged ear gets completely protected by painful (and unuseful) water infiltrations; so, a user with a perforated eardrum can keep joining his own activity, either for pleasure or for job.
Its structure makes it similar to the portuguese man o’ war, the marine invertebrate made up of more animals.
That’s why I decided to nominate it with a name similar to the creature’s italian name (“caravella portoghese”).
