A project involving green screen, filming with DSLR, 3D animations, after effects, premiere and NUKEx.

In a recent project I had to animate, produce, edit, key and encode a total ot 771 video's containing shots from multiple camera's. Many shot were created in a green screen studio, others in a black screen studio (the black studio included curtains and cloth backgrounds for the product shots). Some scene were full 3D renders. This project involved a total 771 video's to edit and encode with one computer.  I also had to animate all idents and bumpers for all the video's. Good project management and planning becomes very important in a project like this.

Procedure
First I created 3D virtual sets, I rendered those as 32 bit exr images. These sets were used as the background images for the green screen movies (the green screen presentation scenes). All video's included several 3D animated 'title sheets' and different 3D intro's. (in different styles and color variations depanding on the product and brand). All brands had multiple products as well.  Because all video's were encoded in a 1920 by 1080 resolution, the keyed versions incl. fake shadows (with costly blur effects in them)  could take quite a while to encode. Later in the project I programmed most of it with some custom NUKE gizmo's and python scripts that I programmed in order to speed things up a bit more.
