Concept :
The mural art is done for a bank named 'Mahatma Phule Co-op. Credit Society Ltd.' founded by Mr. Tatyasaheb Deshpande. The artwork is based on the grea t Indian social activist, anti-caste social reformer, 'Mr. Mahatma Jyotirao Phule' & his wife 'Mrs. Savitribai Phule' who was a great Indian Social reformer & educationalist. Both duo were pioneers of women education in India. Mahatma Phule started the first school in India for girls in 1848 in Pune & Savitribai Phule became a first woman teacher in India. The client also required the founder's portrait and the slogan of the bank. The artwork is a combination of all three personalities along with their work.
