Packaging Series of Three:
Tazo "Wellness Tea" Series
Statement of Intent:
This project is a redesign and rebranding of TAZO teas. It is designed to be a part of a new series of special wellness tea blends promoting health. The typefaces used in the packaging are different weights and styles of Proxima Nova. The difference in patterns is what makes each tea series different but cohesive in design. The color choices refer to the type of health benefit the tea promotes. Blue shades are depicted in the immunitea boost tea. Shades of orange represent the energy boost tea. Lastly, shades of green represent the focus boost tea. The text is arranged in a way that follows a typographic hierarchy and legibility. The pattern is applied on the TAZO logo itself which gives it a more playful and different identity that separates it from their original form of branding.
