These are illustrations for some of the most famous historical sites in Jerusalem, Palestine 
The Dome of the Rock
 
The location of the Dome of the Rock is unique. It casts its commanding beauty from which every angle viewed. From the southern view, one sees the Qibli door which is one of the four open doors which center from the octagon from direction
Church of the Sepulchre of Saint Mary also Tomb of the Virgin Mary
 
is a Christian tomb in Jerusalem, believed by Eastern Christians to be the burial place of Mary, the mother of Jesus.
Bab al-Amud (Damascus Gate)
 
It is the largest and architecturally the most beautiful of the Gates to the Old City. It was called Bab al- Amud (Gate of Pillar)after a pillar placed on which stood a statue. The pillar was used to measure the distance between the capitals; it was recently taken to a museum in Britain.  
 
The Large Riwaq of the Qibli Mosque 
 
It was constructed in 1217. It is made up of seven arches, the largest is in the center. Each arch has one of the seven doors of the mosque facing inward
 Bab Al-Rahma (Gate of Mercy)
 
It is one of the most sealed gates located on the eastern side of Jerusalem City Walls and the Aqsa Mosque. The gate has two large sealed doors, between them are round pillars. Outside it are the graves of the companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), such as; Ubada bin as-Samit, Shaddad bin Aws, and hundreds of scholars, fighters who took major roles during the Fath of Jerusalem
Al-Salahiyye School
 
It was established by Salah ad-Din al Ayyubi as the largest school in Jerusalem. During the Ottoman period, it was transformed to a religious college. In 1917, the British Mandate transformed it to what is called now St. Anne's Church.
 
 Al-Fisqiyya (the Ottoman Fountain)
 
It is square in shape, centered by a stone fountain. In 1971, it's floor was replaced with marble tiles; at the center was placed and polygonal base carrying a pillar upon which rests around water basin. It is located inside the Aqsa Mosque, adjacent the Qasim Pasha Sabil in the northern part and in front of the Ashrafiyya School
Omar b. al-Khattab Mosque
 
The mosque was built on the site, near the church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Omar b. al-Khattab had his prayer after it's time arrived
 The Ramadan Iftar Canon in the Citadel
 
The Ramadan canon is a remnant of the Ottoman period which is still today. It is cylindrical moved on two ironed wheels and pulled. It gave out a loud explosion. People would know when to fast or eat
The Sabil Canal
 
It is one of the main lifelines to Jerusalem. It collects water from a number of distance steams. It was built during the Roman period and was restored during the Umayyad, Ayyubid and Mamluk periods. The Canal is one of the historical relics representing the Islamic civilization with its unique geometrical design.
