Project Retina
Retina is a project where a camera sensor look at a screen and dream on the superimposition of movement and colors thus capturing ghost images.
_
This project start with an idea during spring 2020.
What would happen if you take a photograph of a screen full of colours and moving images? And what would arise if you play with the exposure and obturation speed?
The process was tidious and impredictible, it took a lot of shoots and adjustements. But it was worth it and I captured interesting results. The creative process and journey in this project was as important as the final results.
In a world of constant moving images and flickering colours, stoping the time using a camera sensor to snapshots the lights created by screens help us reflect on our pratices and expositions to screens and images.

Here some of the uncroped originals.
