Brand Inspiration
Adept Medical is proudly a Kiwi owned and operated company who are dedicated to finding innovative and unique solutions to both clinicians and patients in the operating room.
Our graphics represent the natural New Zealand environment, Adept’s roots, Whakapapa and identity while having a strong connection to the physical structure of the human anatomy.
The colour blue is associated with credibility, trust, knowledge, experience, professionalism and focus. All these qualities are highly valued in both the medical field and Adept Medical, therefore cultivating a natural connection.
The Title font, Baloo Regular, has been used to display approachability and confidence. It is well contrasted with the subtitle text of Montserrat Bold, a functional and contemporary typeface that is easy to read, therefore suitable for use in subtitles and paragraphs.
A gradient graphic feature has been implemented throughout our branding, including our logotype and imagery. This offers a volumetric display, simulating depth, which links to Adept’s experience and original roots in plastic injection moulding. Furthermore, this technique replicates the gradient found in the natural environment of the sea, sky and land.
The orange used as a detail feature is the complementary colour to blue, offering visual co-ordination to highlight or direct to specific features.
