this is my page for my school assignment. what we had to do is make a bookcover for an already existing book. since we could choose from three books, i started off picking two of the books and sketching some ideas for them. then i went on with one book called Ornithology, a book about birds. i chose this book because i am not used to drawing birds and i wanted somewhat of a challenge. i refined the concept sketches i made and eventually chose one to be my final concept. i put down some colors and changed them up a bit to my liking. then i took my sketch to clip studio paint and roughly shaded it before merging the layers together and cleaning everything up. then i added the text in photoshop, though i had some difficulties with the text tool because i am stupid. lastly i edited a mockup. not completely satisfied with my product but i ran out of time so i hope this will do.
